The North of England Transport Summit due to take place on 26th November is being rescheduled due to pre-election purdah.
Following the news of the snap General Election on December 12, the Government will enter 'purdah' (the traditional pre-election period during which there are wide ranging restrictions on their activities) at the beginning of next week. Unfortunately this means that a large number of speakers on the North of England Transport Summit agenda are now unable to participate.
In light of this we have taken the decision to rearrange this event, as we want to ensure that the conference offers maximum value to our delegate and supporters. By rescheduling the event we hope to be able to deliver it as close to the original programme as possible.
The event will now take place on Wednesday 12 February 2020 at the same venue in Manchester. We will update the agenda online in due course.
For any delegates who have already booked to attend the conference in November, our events team will be in touch to confirm arrangements for your places going forward. We will offer a full refund to any delegate who cannot attend on the new date. Refunds and credit notes will be processed from Monday 4th November.
