In light of the current situation with COVID-19, following careful deliberation we have taken the decision that the UK Rail Summit can no longer be held this month. We have taken into consideration the interest of public safety along with the knowledge that many organisations are also introducing bans on staff members attending large events, and so after looking at many options we have come to the conclusion that the right decision is to postpone the event until Autumn.
Along with the knowledge that many organisations are also introducing bans on staff members attending large events, we have considered all options carefully and have come to conclusion that the right decision is to postpone the event until Autumn.
We hope that over the next few months the situation will become clearer in relation to COVID-19 and it will also allow further time for the Williams Rail Review to actually be published!
We have agreed with KPMG that the event will rescheduled for 18th September 2020, and plan to deliver an event as close to original programme as possible, offering everyone the best value. This is not a decision we've taken lightly but we think in this case it's the best course of action.
As and when we re-confirm speakers we will update our agenda online.
Bookings are now open for the new date and all delegates booked for the March 24 date have been contacted about transferring their places to the new date. Refunds are being offered to those who cannot attend the new date.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you in September.
